Willowdene Farm

West Mercia ProbOffender feeding a cow at the farmation Trust has a partnership arrangement with Willowdene Farm, Shropshire to deliver interventions to offenders.

Using funding from the Trust and the National Treatment Agency, Willowdene has established a Social Enterprise called RITE (Relational, Inspiring, Trusting, Engaging) to develop this work.  The programme will be subsidised by the profits from sales of farm products from the Social Enterprise, thus ensuring its long term sustainability.

Interventions available at the farm are the Specified Activity Requirement called the 'Care Farm Skills Training Programme', the Residential Intervention Programme, Senior Attendance Centre and the new Women's Residential Programme introduced in April 2013.

Aside from this work Willowdene runs its own very successful residential, rehabilitation and training centre for adult men with a history of substance addiction.  The centre has built up an excellent reputation nationally and has an enviable success rate.
